Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Triponaut app (“Triponaut”, “the app”, “we”) processes, why, and the choices you have. We keep the app lean and collect as little as possible.

Information stored on your device

Triponaut is offline-first, so your trip data lives primarily on your device:

• your trips and their itineraries (flights, hotels, trains and buses)
• booking details you add, such as confirmation numbers, seats, times and notes
• app settings, including the selected theme

Information stored on our servers

To sync your trips across your devices, Triponaut stores your itinerary data on our infrastructure and associates it with your account:

• your account identifier and email address (used for sign-in)
• your trips and bookings, so they are available on every device you sign in to

This data is transmitted over encrypted connections and is used only to provide the sync feature. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.

Email import (optional)

If you choose to connect a Gmail or Outlook account, Triponaut requests read access so it can search for travel confirmation emails and let you turn them into bookings. Email content is processed to detect travel details and is not stored beyond the bookings you choose to save. You can disconnect the mailbox at any time from Settings, which revokes Triponaut’s access.

Third parties

Triponaut relies on the following third-party services. Each processes data only as needed to provide its part of the service, under its own privacy terms:

• Supabase — account authentication and backend storage. https://supabase.com/privacy

• Google (Gmail API & Play Services) — optional email import and app distribution. https://policies.google.com/privacy

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account removes the trip data associated with it from our servers. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
